Report: Florida DT Brown charged with battery
Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Florida defensive tackle Gary Brown reportedly faces two counts of misdemeanor battery for allegedly harming two women Sunday.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Brown was arrested after he slapped one woman and scratched another. Neither woman required medical attention, the report said.
The report also states that Brown is suspended from team activities indefinitely.
The redshirt freshman did not play in 2009 for the Gators but was a prized recruit in last year's class.

Will the Tim Tebow Commercial Air?
With so many super bowl commercials getting the DENIED from CBS because they deem the commercials not fit to their strategy of marketing you have to wonder if they will air the much controversial Tim Tebow of the Florida gators commercial. So what are your thoughts on the airing or non-airing since there is a prop bet available on it.

Dan LeFevour threw for a touchdown and ran for another score as North dominated South, 31-13, in the 61st Senior Bowl at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
LeFevour, of Central Michigan, finished with a modest 97 yards passing on 5- of-10 completions and rushed for 12 yards for the North, who have won four of the last six meetings.
Cincinnati's Mardy Gilyard posted 103 yards and a TD reception on five catches and Oregon's LeGarrette Blount added a rushing touchdown for the victors.
Zac Robinson from Oklahoma State finished with 176 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 12-of-21 completions for the South, who claimed victory in 2008 and 2009.
Florida's Tim Tebow was limited to 50 yards passing on eight completions and four yards rushing on four carries. Tulane's Jeremy Williams had six receptions for 82 yards.
LeFevour gave North some breathing room on a one-yard plunge with 3:52 left in the third quarter for a 24-13 game, capping a brief 29-yard drive set up by a long punt return.
Gilyard then hauled in a 32-yard pass for a touchdown from LeFevour with 11:21 left in regulation to seal the win for North.
Both teams scored in the opening quarter, as Michigan State kicker Brett Swenson's 43-yard field goal put North on the board, then Leigh Tiffin of Alabama countered for South on another 43-yard attempt.
Blount's 14-yard run early in the second put North ahead by seven, then a six- yard fumble recovery for a touchdown from Murray State's Austen Lane gave North a 17-3 edge.
South rebounded with a 33-yard make from Tiffin and Colin Peek's 19-yard TD reception from Robinson to get within 17-13 at the half.
